Four sessions held within the framework of the conference were devoted to such topics as:
✔️ «Current situation on cargo turnover at border crossings China/Kazakhstan and cargo traffic to neighboring countries»
✔️ «Containerization of bulk cargo: current status and prospects»
✔️ «Prospects for the development of transit transport»
✔️ «From containerization to digitalization, one click»
According to the participants of the conference, the transit role of Russia in international trade has increased rapidly today. Thus, the dynamics of export traffic to China through land border crossings only through the Dostyk border station showed an increase of more than 53%. At the same time, there is a steady increase in traffic volumes for all major groups of goods, including timber cargo, paper, coal, grain, ore and sulfur raw materials – an increase of over 15%.
It should be added that the main goal within the framework of the Atasu Group development policy is to increase the transit potential of Kazakhstan and stimulate the growth of the domestic economy.
Atasu Group executives together with partners from FT Logistic took part in the III TransCont-2021 Conference in Moscow.
Over 250 managers, top managers, experts and owners of transport and logistics companies from Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Germany, Azerbaijan, Poland, Latvia and Estonia gathered at one platform to discuss the most pressing issues of modern logistics.
