The survey showed that 90% of logistics managers are always available for management and their colleagues to solve work issues, 6% of them contact only a certain circle of people, and not a single respondent from the logistics industry reported that he completely disconnects from work and business processes on weekends or during vacation. Kazakh logisticians work in the same rhythm, said Gulzhan Duissenova, Director of the Department for Human Resources and Communications at Atasu Group.

"All our employees are really in touch 24 hours a day, both with their clients, various contractors who help us in cargo transportation, and with the company's management. We repeatedly tell job seekers in logistics that a person should understand that this will be a round-the-clock job that does not stop after 18.00 or on holidays, and they should be ready for this."

At the same time, there is a trend in Russia when transport logistics companies began to reduce the volume of corporate benefits for employees. The share of companies where employees are paid for mobile communications has decreased from 42% to 33% since 2018. Corporate holidays and team building events are held by 43% of companies, compared to 53% three years earlier. The number of companies that provide free meals to employees has also decreased (from 18% to 13%). Kazakh logisticians, on the contrary, are being created more and more comfortable working conditions.

"We do not reduce corporate benefits. Yes, the work on events and holidays has changed, due to the pandemic restrictions, but we are trying to increase the number of various contests and games for staff so that employees feel that they are appreciated. Our work volumes have now increased significantly, respectively, we allocate the best specialists of the company from all departments on a weekly, monthly, quarterly basis, we try to mark their work with valuable prizes, we constantly keep the focus on staff satisfaction," Gulzhan Duissenova said.
