In addition to the logistics industry, Switzerland expressed interest in participating in the development of Kazakhstan's engineering, agriculture, tourism, high technologies and the "green" economy. It is known that today more than 40 enterprises and companies with the participation of Swiss capital are already successfully operating in Kazakhstan. 

"We have all the necessary opportunities to ensure the continuation of mutually beneficial and successful cooperation. Our task is to provide additional incentives in all areas of our cooperation," - Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said. 

"I should mention the good cooperation in the areas of interest to us. I hope that in the future we will be able to strengthen and expand this cooperation even more, " - Guy Parmelan said in turn.

The sides also noted the importance of the bilateral Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and the Business Council in the implementation of the agreements between the two countries. Other topics for discussion were promoting global peace and security, ensuring sustainable development, combating climate change, and promoting fair and efficient transboundary water use in Central Asia.

At the end of the video call, the President of Kazakhstan thanked the Swiss companies for their humanitarian assistance and assistance in the fight against COVID-19.
