It should be noted that in this mode, employees of the company's trucking department have been working since December 31. After all, New Year's holidays are also a big responsibility for transport workers.
From January 1 to January 4, Atasu Group drivers transported about 400 tons of cargo across Kazakhstan and several dozen containers across Almaty. Such data was announced by the director of the company's trucking department. According to Marat Oshakhtiyev, working on days when the whole world celebrates the New Year is a familiar thing for his colleagues. As well as being behind the wheel at times when thousands of Almaty residents found themselves in a difficult situation in the city due to riots.
"Trucking is one of those strategic segments in logistics, where in any weather, at any time of the day, and even more so during the state of emergency, it is necessary to deliver goods non-stop. During the New Year holidays, when everyone was relaxing and having fun, our employees worked. The events that happened in Almaty immediately after the new year forced all of us to gather and continue working in an even more intense mode. Not only our drivers did not rest, but also the dispatch service, which controlled the location of the cargo, provided tracking, advised drivers on weather conditions, provided all this information in a timely manner, prepared reports. That is, during the holidays and currently the work is carried out in a non-stop format," says Marat Oshakhtiev.
